speKset LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect, what we do with it, and your rights. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and the design work you do lives primarily in your own browser.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: email address and (via our payment processor, Stripe) billing details when you subscribe. We never see your full card number.
- Support communication: anything you email us (e.g. bug reports, questions).
- Project content: the scenes, exported files, uploaded images, venue imports, and any other content you create in the Service. This is stored mostly on your own device (see below) and on our servers if you choose to save or share it.
Information collected automatically
- Local storage (your browser): scene state,
preferences, and project list are stored in your browser via
localStorage. This never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or save to the cloud. - Server logs: when you load the Service, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs basic HTTP request data — IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs. Used for uptime and abuse prevention. Retained per Cloudflare's standard policies.
- Error reports: when you click the "🐞 Bug" button in the app, we build an email with a summary of your recent errors and scene counts. The email is sent from your own mail client; we only see what you send us.
What we do NOT collect
- We don't use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels).
- We don't use advertising cookies.
- We don't sell any data to anyone.
2. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process subscription payments through Stripe.
- Respond to support requests and bug reports.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.

4. Third parties
We share data with these third parties only as needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and Pages Functions. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Cookies + similar
speKset itself uses only first-party browser storage
(localStorage) for your settings and scene. We don't
set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies for bot protection
and similar security purposes; see their policy.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update that data.
- Delete your account and the data tied to it.
- Export a copy of your account data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these, email info@setheasterdesign.com. We'll respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete associated scene data and project records within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal, tax, or audit reasons.
8. Security
We use standard security practices — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted payment processing via Stripe, access controls on our servers — but no system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, email us right away.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we've received data from a child in error, we'll delete it.
10. International users
speKset is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service you consent to that transfer.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
